Catford station Access for All Improvements
As part of the Department for Transport’s Access for All programme, we have installed two new lifts at Catford Station, to provide step-free access between platforms.
Part of the Government’s nationwide Railway Access for All Strategy, this £3.7 million scheme has made the station much easier to use for passengers with limited mobility, with luggage, bicycles or pushchairs.
What work took place?
- Installation of a link-bridge and two new lifts, one on each platform
- Installation of new CCTV cameras
When did the work take place?
The works started in January 2022 and completed in Summer 2023.
I have a question about the project – how can I get in touch?
