Due to our nationwide initiative to de-congest station concourses to improve the pedestrian flow for the growing numbers of passengers, kiosks and mobile units are being removed and more space is being created for in-line units through various station developments.
Demand for retail space on our stations is much higher than we have supply. It can therefore take a long time to find a suitable site.
When units become available we look at protecting the range and credibility of the retail mix, so for each unit we will only be able to consider certain categories, depending on the size of the unit and the services and other retailers already on the station.
We normally tender units – this is a straightforward process that our team will talk you through. In some cases, if we feel that your brand is particularly appropriate for a location, we’ll negotiate with you direct.
