As the industry prepares for the biggest change in a generation, our focus has been simple: keep the railway moving reliably and safely, and continue to deliver the upgrades and improvements our passengers, freight customers and communities rely on.
Over the past twelve months, momentum towards Great British Railways (GBR) has gathered pace, with the creation of three integrated railways and the laying of the Railways Bill in Parliament marking important milestones. Throughout these headline moments, our teams have remained focused on delivering the railway of today.
“From dealing with the impacts of seven named storms, to successfully delivering the largest East Coast Mainline timetable change in over a decade, I am incredibly proud of the work we achieved this year to provide a better railway for our customers.
