Train customers at Lime Street station will soon benefit from better toilet facilities thanks to a £100,000 Great North Rail Project upgrade.
Part of a wider £300m investment in the railway in the Liverpool City Region, Lime Street’s new-look loos will help provide an even better gateway to the city.
Karen Hornby, head of performance and customer relations at Network Rail, said: “Our £100,000 upgrade will modernise these facilities for customers and help make the station a better place to start and end your journey.”
These improvements are part of the Great North Rail Project. The restroom upgrades will be completed by the end of February 2018.
