What is maintenance?
For us, maintenance means preserving the reliability and safety of the railway. Our maintenance teams work tirelessly to prevent issues before they arise and to fix any problems quickly and efficiently. This ensures that trains run on time and passengers can travel safely.
What will I be doing?
Maintenance at Network Rail is vast and offers many career paths. You can start in an entry-level job and move up to more advanced roles. There are lots of chances to grow and develop your career. From track maintenance to signal maintenance, our team works outside in all weather, all year, day and night. You’ll do important work, helping to keep our railway running smoothly and safely.
