Liverpool Lime Street
Nearly 20 million passengers pass through Liverpool Lime Street every year
Built in 1836, Liverpool Lime Street opened at a time of rapid growth for the railway in Britain. It had its first expansion in 1849, a large château-like building which now fronts the station.
