Passenger information

The platform, which is served by South Western Railway (SWR) services from London Waterloo to Shepperton, will be closed from Monday 17 May 2021. A new platform is scheduled to open on Saturday 6 November 2021.

The existing concrete structure has come to the end of its lifespan and needs to be replaced. Between May and November we will be installing a new and improved platform that will support passenger travel through the station for years to come.

Passengers travelling to Upper Halliford on trains from London Waterloo can travel to Shepperton and change for a train back towards London Waterloo, which will take approximately six minutes. Alternatively, passengers can use a rail replacement bus service from Sunbury that will take approximately four minutes, departing at around 13 minutes past the hour.

Platform one, for trains towards London Waterloo, together with the station’s footbridge and ticket machine, will operate as normal during this programme of work.
