Network Rail is inviting residents to find out more about work to upgrade the railway in Kentish Town this Christmas.

Between Saturday 22 December and Wednesday 2 January, 60 workers will spend a combined 14,000 hours continuing with work which began last Christmas to upgrade concrete slab which supports the track through Kentish Town.

The slab was laid in the late 1970s and while routine maintenance has preserved it, major work is needed to continue to allow trains to pass through the area safely and reliably for years to come

Network Rail is a holding a public information event for those wishing to find out more about the upgrade on Thursday 6 December between 16:30 and 19:30 at Kentish Town C of E Primary School.

Footage of similar activity that took place in 2017 is available at
