A major signalling fault at Woking is affecting services on the South Western Main Line with passengers strongly advised to check before they travel.

A fault with the signalling system at Woking means that trains are currently unable to run through this station and train services are disrupted. Network Rail workers are on site and working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible but disruption is expected until at least 12:00.

Network Rail is urging passengers to check before they travel via National Rail Enquiries or southwesternrailway.com.

Ticket acceptance is in place and customers may travel on the following routes:

  • Great Western Railway services between Basingstoke / Reading and London Paddington.
  • CrossCountry services between Basingstoke and Reading
  • London Underground between London Waterloo and London Paddington

Network Rail would like to apologise for the disruption this morning and thanks passengers for their continued patience whilst we work to resolve this issue.
