Changes to project advice notices
Project Advice Notices (PANs) are a vehicle for internal communication within Network Rail Infrastructure Projects. A PAN is a document that communicates formal advice and instructions rapidly and in a consistent way within a programme or engineering team.
Previously, a register of PANs has been associated with the Network Rail standard and was published alongside these by external publishers of the standard. This standard is due to be withdrawn shortly, to be replaced by an internal process. PANs will continue to exist, but it will no longer be possible to publish the register on our standards publisher’s sites.
Going forward, the PAN register will be available on this page and updated on a quarterly basis.
