National Apprenticeship Week: find out more and apply to our scheme

Group of apprentices talking in training centre breakout area

We’re calling out for the next generation of engineers who want to learn on the job and build a career in engineering. We want you to be the future of our business.

We’re supporting this year’s National Apprenticeship Week (5 to 9 March 2018) and we’re looking to recruit apprentices across the country to help deliver the Railway Upgrade Plan to make the railway bigger and better for Britain for years to come.

The Advanced Apprenticeship Scheme at Network Rail is open to anyone who will be aged 18 on or before 29 September 2018. There’s no upper age limit.

There are apprenticeships across the whole country. Although part of your first year as an apprentice is spent at Network Rail’s Training Centre, you will be allocated a local depot for the remainder of your first year and the second and third years of the scheme.

You’ll receive expert training and specialise in electrification and plant, overhead lines, signalling, telecoms, track or off track.
