    Ticket office

    There is a ticket desk on platform 8 which is open all station hours.

    The ticket office is run by Virgin Trains East Coast.

    • Sunday 07:20 - 22:15

    Advance tickets

    • Monday to Saturday 06:45 - 21:00
    • Sunday 07:35 - 21:00

    Ticket machines

    In the travel centre and on the concourse. They are run by Virgin Trains East Coast.

    In the centre of the station opposite the cash machines.


    Toilets and baby care

    Women, men, accessible and baby care:

    • By the entrance to platforms 9-11
    • Mezzanine, behind the escalators and lift
    The toilets cost 30p, they are open when the station is open.

    There are several ATMs on the concourse.


    There are no public telephones at the station.

    The nearest ones are over the road in the entrance to King's Cross St Pancras Underground.

    The BTP station has moved under the pub by the entry to platform 9.

    Lost property

    At the station

    Items handed in at the station are kept in the left luggage office. Report lost property online or call 0330 024 0215.

    Lost property counter hours:

    • Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00

    Charges for reclaimed items.

    Onboard a train

    Items left on trains are kept by the train company - contacts list.


    Left luggage

    You can leave luggage at Excess Baggage Co near the entrance to platform 9.

    • Monday to Sunday 07:00 - 23:00

    You can prebook storage for your heavy, awkward or high-value luggage at one of our Rail Station Left Luggage facilities.

    Trolley bays: on platforms 1-9, around the concourse, outside by the entrances. There are no trolleys on platforms 10 and 11.

    A £1 coin deposit is refunded when you return the trolley.


    Photo booths

    There are passport photo booths behind the escalators near the Great Northern Hotel.
