    Tickets and information

    Scottish destinations

    Go to the ticket office:

    • Monday to Saturday 06:00 - 23:25
    • Sunday 07:00 - 23:05

    The ticket office is run by ScotRail.

    Other destinations

    Go to the travel centre, next to the ticket office:

    • Monday to Saturday 05:30 - 21:30
    • Sunday 09:15 - 21:30

    The travel centre is run by Virgin Trains.

    Ticket machines
    There are machines around the station selling tickets for all train companies. They are run by Virgin and ScotRail.

    Sleeper services
    These run between Glasgow Central and London Euston. Go to the travel centre or call 0845 7550 033.

    Toilets and baby changing

    Men, women: downstairs, by the Union St exit.

    Accessible toilet: inside the Gordon St entrance, use intercom for access. Opposite the payphones at platform 9, Radar key required.

    Baby change: inside the Gordon St entrance.



    Men's and women's showers are within the toilets, downstairs by the Union St exit, £5.

    Shower facilities are accessible to wheelchair users.


    Cash and bureau de change

    There are cash dispensers near platforms 10-11 and near WHSmith.

    The nearest bureau de change is on Gordon St across from the main exit.



    By the entrance to platform 1 and near the entrance to platform 9.

    There is a textphone at reception.

    British Transport Police

    The BTP office is by the entrance to the low-level station. If no one is there, use the phone by the entrance to contact police control.

    For help call 0800 40 50 40 or speak to a member of station staff. In an emergency call 999.

    Lost property

    At the station

    Items handed in at the station are kept in the left luggage office. Report a lost item online or call 0330 024 0215.

    Lost property counter hours:

    • Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00

    Charges for reclaimed items.

    Onboard a train

    Items left on trains are kept by the train company - contacts list.


    Left luggage

    You can leave luggage at Excess Baggage, next to platform 1.

    You can prebook storage for your heavy, awkward or high-value luggage at one of our Rail Station Left Luggage facilities.
