APPLYING TO FILM:

Network Rail owns and operates Great Britain's rail infrastructure, including the 17 major stations that we manage (see list).

THE FILMING PROCESS:

RESEARCH: To talk through your request before submitting a formal application, please email your enquiry to filming@networkrail.co.uk.

GIVE NOTICE: Shoots with less than 5-7 working days notice cannot be guaranteed. The Commercial Filming Manager will check your proposed shoot date against other planned activity and give an OK in principle to proceed.

APPLY: Please send completed application forms to filming@networkrail.co.uk. We will need to see Public Liability Insurance, Risk Assessment and Method Statement for every shoot, regardless of scale.

Filming on stations must take place between 10am and 4pm or between 9pm and 4.30am, Monday to Friday. There are no time restrictions on weekends.

CONFIRMATION: Final confirmation of the filming is subject to approved Method Statement and Risk Assessment and a Location Agreement will then be issued.

The application pack includes an application form and information on fees, restrictions and access. Download an application pack.
