    All entrances are step-free. Lifts connect the concourse to the footbridge and platforms 1, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 20.

    Induction loops: the ticket offices have induction loops.

    Visually impaired: there are tactile warning strips along the platform edges with the exception of platforms 4, 7, 8 and 9.

    Requesting assistance

    We can help you more effectively if you call us in advance on 0845 722 5225.

    Alternatively contact your train operator, ideally 24 hours in advance.

    If you need help around the station, speak to a member of staff or go to Virgin Trains East Coast reception opposite the entrance to platform 4.

    Getting to and from the station

    Car

    Private cars can no longer enter the station. Organisations and drivers who provide transport for people with disabilities and who register with the station will still be allowed access.

    • Market St, EH1 1DE
    • New St car park (free for 30 minutes), EH8 8BH

    Parking at Waverley station

    Bus

    Buses stop in Princes St. All buses are accessible.

    Taxi

    The nearest taxi ranks are on Market St and on Waverley Bridge, just outside the station.
