All entrances are step-free. Lifts connect the concourse to the footbridge and platforms 1, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 20.
Induction loops: the ticket offices have induction loops.
Visually impaired: there are tactile warning strips along the platform edges with the exception of platforms 4, 7, 8 and 9.

If you need help around the station, speak to a member of staff or go to Virgin Trains East Coast reception opposite the entrance to platform 4.

Private cars can no longer enter the station. Organisations and drivers who provide transport for people with disabilities and who register with the station will still be allowed access.
