  • The future of Britain is with Network Rail. Join us on our journey.

Network Rail is building a better railway for a better Britain. With innovative technology and key project investment, it’s an ambitious endeavor – one that demands only the best people for the job.

  • Every day, four million people use our network. Today, we carry 50 per cent more passengers than 10 years ago. Tomorrow, we'll transport millions more. Transforming the entire network to deliver faster, safer, greener travel and a more frequent service brings big challenges – and many great opportunities. All we need now is more brilliant talent to help us make our vision a reality.

One of the biggest transformations we’re making is to our signalling system. We’re investing in the latest advanced signalling and control technology as part of the European Train Control System (ETCS) and Traffic Management programme. Working to replace our heritage trackside signalling equipment with world-leading in-cab and control centre systems, we’re creating a new legacy for the railway. And, as technology and projects continue to evolve, we’re exploring new ways of working and setting new industry benchmarks along the way.

Whichever role you join us in, you’ll help to shape the way we work – and the way millions travel in the future.
