    1  First phase of work completed over Christmas 2010
    2  Work starts to modernise Reading station
    3  Platforms renumbered and the new southern platform opens
    Cow lane bridge (south) widened
    4  Improved station opens with new platforms and entrances
    5  New train depot opens
    6  Viaduct to cut delays
    7  Project complete
