• Getting there - Waterloo station

  • Waterloo station closes shortly after the last train has departed. We do not provide the facilities for passengers to remain in the station overnight. The ticket office is open 24 hours a day.

    Waterloo East station

    Waterloo East serves south east London, Kent and East Sussex. It is operated by Southeastern trains. It can be reached from the main concourse by the stairs, escalator or the lift opposite platforms 11 and 12.

    Car pick up and set down

    Private cars can pick-up and set down outside the station reception on Cab Road, a continuation of Station Approach Road. This road is one-way (from Addington Street) and goes around the Station.

    There are several ways into the station:

    • Steps at the end of all platforms
    • Down the escalators near platforms 18 – 19
    • Steps in the centre of the concourse near platform 5
    • For the Jubilee line, the escalator opposite platforms 4 and 5
