    All entrances to are step-free.

    A major redevelopment of the station is underway. Full consultation with Access Reference Groups has been sought and the redevelopment will greatly improve accessibility at the station. More about the King's Cross redevelopment 

    Requesting assistance

    Ask any member of our station team, identifiable by blue vests, or go to either of the customer information points - there is one on the concourse and one in the ticket office. The customer information points are open Monday to Sunday 07:00 - 21:00.

    Alternatively contact your train operator (ideally 48 hours in advance):

     

  • Accessible toilets
    • Standard class lounge, next to the travel centre.
    • East Coast first class lounge, platform 8.

    Please note that due to redevelopment work access routes may change at short notice.

    Wheelchairs
    Wheelchairs can be borrowed for use around the station - speak to a member of staff.
    Getting to and from the station

    Bus
    There are bus stops in front of the station on Euston Road and on York Way. Many of the routes are wheelchair accessible.

    Wheelchair access to buses at the Euston Road bus stop is currently difficult.

    Underground
    There is a lift in front of the station, to the right of the main Underground entrance, that goes to the Underground ticket office. Access to all tube lines is either via stairs or escalator.

    Car
    Private cars can pick up and set down by the forecourt on Pancras Road. Pancras Road is one-way and can only be accessed from Euston Road.

    There are 3 Blue Badge parking spaces on the Pancras Road forecourt. Waiting time is limited to 20 minutes.

    There is a long stay car park on Pancras Road with 12 Blue Badge spaces, the normal tariff applies. See parking for more information. The spaces are over 50m from the nearest station entrance, transfer by mobility assistance vehicle is available.

    Taxi
    All taxis are wheelchair accessible. The taxi rank is next to the station in Pancras Road. It is not necessary to book. The taxi set-down is on York Way, on the other side of the station, near the junction with Euston Road.
