In July 2010 we received notification from the Department for Transport that following a Public Inquiry held in March 2010 the Secretary of State has granted permission for the Nuneaton North Chord scheme to proceed.
We held a public exhibition during July 2008 and following this we carried out further consultation activities in July 2009 to update local residents on changes in the scheme.
Although consultation regarding those exhibitions is now closed, we are still responding to queries and requests for further information and will continue to do so throughout the process.
We would like to thank everyone who attended the exhibits and spoke to our staff, and also those who contacted us with regards to the scheme.
Lots of you got involved in the consultation and your thoughts were, and will continue to be taken into account during the development of the scheme.
