• Community consultation

  • Whether you use Reading station regularly, live in the town, or just pass through the station, your support for our project is important to us. We have held a number of consultation and briefing events to tell residents, community groups and businesses about what we're doing, and we'll carry on doing that throughout the project's lifespan.

    There will be an information evening for local residents on:

    Thursday 19 January, 7pm to 8.30pm
    Reading Deaf Centre
    131-133 Cardiff Road
    Reading
    Berkshire
    RG1 8JF.

    There will be presentations from members of Network Rail’s Reading team, as well as opportunities to ask the engineers in charge of the project any questions you may have.

  • Travel information

    We will complete most of the improvements at Reading without any impact on passengers, however there will be times when journeys are affected.
