We are building a new landmark for London - the first railway station to span the Thames
London Blackfriars station handles millions of passengers every year. Our landmark new station will provide a better interchange between national rail and London Underground services and make London's Bankside and South Bank tourist areas much more accessible to passengers.
The work at London Blackfriars is part of the Thameslink Programme - a £5.5bn scheme to improve journeys running north-south through London.
