Nuneaton

Network Rail plans to build a short new section of track known as a ‘chord’. The chord will link the Peterborough / Leicester line to the West Coast Main Line so that freight traffic can travel through Nuneaton station without affecting passenger services. This would create a more reliable railway for Nuneaton and the region.

Before we apply for a Transport and Works Act Order (which gives us permission to build the chord)
