Contract and Procurement vacancies

Influence an economy and millions of journeys each day.

Renewing and enhancing the nation’s railways is no small challenge. We have a £4billion annual spend, and a lot of work to do. With London 2012 and Kings Cross on the horizon, and an enhanced renewals spend, we are now busier than ever. It’s our aim to become world-class and our Contracts and Procurement function is no exception. Through renewing our existing assets or expanding our network, you’ll influence high-profile projects that impact the nation’s rail transport system and economy, and make a difference to millions of users each day.

We are evolving to ensure we provide a world-class infrastructure and to do this we’re investing in our assets – from stations to bridges to track. You’ll get involved in everything from smaller projects to £multi-million programmes, spanning the areas of Track, Property, Civil Engineering and Signalling. In short: if you’re self-motivated, we have the projects to challenge you.

You’ll thrive seeing these projects through from a contracts and procurement angle. But you won’t necessarily need rail experience; in fact, you could have a contract management background in anything from defence, utilities to civil engineering, building and manufacturing.
