Farncombe up Platform Extension

The project has delivered a 70m extension to the up platform at Farncombe Station in Hampshire.  This now enables all doors on 10 and 12 car trains to be opened at the platform reducing the time it takes for passengers to board.  Tactile paving has been provided along the entire length of the platform and new platform seating has been installed on behalf of Stagecoach South Western Trains.  The scheme was opened in May 2007.
