Business Plan 2006

Welcome to Network Rail's Business Plan 2006

Network Rail has published its 2006 business plan. The plan sets out the company's achievements since it was created in 2002, with train punctuality now standing at its highest level for six years. Network Rail's ambition to grow the railway is outlined and £400m of additional money to fund these plans is announced.

The Business Plan suite of documents is produced annually in accordance with our network licence condition seven. The Business Plan is an executive overview of our detailed plans for the coming year and the Summary Plan gives a brief overview of this.

The Management Plan is a comprehensive enactment document by business function and the Route Plan shows, in more detail, how the strategies set out in the Management Plan will be delivered at a local level.
