Civils
World leaders in the safe and efficient delivery of civils renewals projects for the 21st century
Portfolio
Our key purpose is the efficient delivery of civils renewals through improved specification, better utilisation of resources and the professional control and management of projects.
We are in charge of a network that is twice the length of UK’s entire motorway and trunk roads, and are the largest single bridge owner in the country. The infrastructure we manage is extensive. We have 200 miles of railway in tunnels, 150 miles of coastal railway, and around 250 miles of subterranean water courses.
Our focus is to renew this rail infrastructure to deliver our commitments for the future, through increased efficiency and value for money.
To keep the industry appraised of our scheme of works, we meet with the Civil Engineering Contractor’s Association (CECA) on a quarterly basis, at both national and territory level.
