Our stations are visited by 800 million people every year. With more and more people choosing to travel by rail, this figure is expected to rise to 1 billion by 2020.
Our bright, modern stations offer quality retail space, giving our retail partners a unique range of exciting opportunities throughout Britain and in central London, with excellent footfall figures.
We have the established infrastructure, the essential locations and high customer traffic to help brands perform to their full potential. We’re passionate about working in partnership with retailers to help business run better. We are already working with many of the UK’s leading high street brands including M&S, Boots, Costa Coffee, Pret, Monsoon, TM Lewin, Fat Face and Nando’s, and are constantly seeking opportunities to develop partnerships with emerging new retailers.
Our retail strategy
We are committed to understanding the needs and expectations of our customers and have conducted extensive research to gain better insight into the type of retail our customers would like to see in our stations. Recent research has indicated that whilst there is always going to be a demand for well known brand favourites, there is also a desire to see some independent premium offers in our stations which differentiate from the high street. This research informs the retail tenant mix at each of our managed stations, and when retail space becomes available, we refer to our strategy to indentify the brands which meet the requirements of our customers and invite them to tender for the available space.
