  • London Overground - extending the East London route

  • Extending the East London route

    On Schedule

We're working to bring London a bigger and better railway.

We're working with TfL to upgrade London Overground, an essential part of the capital's transport network, which gets millions of people to work and moves goods to and from the UK's biggest container port.

An extension of the network from Dalston Junction to Clapham Junction via Surrey Quays will complete London's orbital railway.

  • Completing London's orbital railway

By the end of 2012, it will take approximately 40 minutes to travel from Dalston Junction to Clapham Junction in new high-capacity, air-conditioned trains.

    North London line

We're also improving the North London line, an essential part of the capital's transport network, giving passengers a more reliable railway with longer trains and more frequent services.
