Our scheme project managers are responsible for a wide range of engineering activities. You’ll ensure incredibly high standards of planning, engineering and innovation, as well as effectiveness and good value. All your projects must incorporate sustainable design and follow both in-house standards and relevant legislation.
Salary: from £30,000

We’re looking for talented, ambitious people who are experienced in project management and design. Ideally, you’ll be a member of the Association for Project Management or another professional body.
You’ll be involved in safety, environment, design and construction, procurement and cost control. You’ll test and commission elements of the schemes you work on. You’ll manage change and risk within each project life cycle. Health and safety will be integral to everything you do: you’ll either assist with, or be wholly responsible for ensuring a safe working environment.
You may even be required to act as planning supervisor in some instances.
You don’t need specific rail industry experience: what we’re looking for is motivation and natural flair for dealing with people at all levels. You’ll need demonstrable experience in a relevant discipline,
including project management and construction design and management.
